We are 50 this year!
Come celebrate with us at our gala event featuring a silent auction, guest MC and entertainment and delicious buffet dinner. The theme is, of course, the Fabulous 50!. Everyone is encouraged to dress for the 50s and bone-up on all that 50s trivia. In addition to the silent auction and dinner featuring 50s comfort foods, there will be games, a costume contest, history and trivia and dancing to the tunes from Swing Inc. You won't want to miss this!
School Supply Drive and Distribution
Each year Community Ministry helps more than 300 children prepare for school by providing school supplies. Member churches and individuals donate items.
Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Boxes
Community Ministry provides food boxes each Thanksgiving and Christmas above and beyond the regular food bank distribution. Food boxes include ingredients for a complete holiday dinner, including meat. Food comes from special item food drives hosted by supporting churches, donations from stores and other organizations.
Each year Community Ministry provides gifts for children in the area for Christmas. Nominations of children to receive gifts are made by family members, schools and churches. Each child receives up to $30.00 worth of Christmas gifts donated by private individuals.
